"dead center" composition - sometimes if you break one rule the piece becomes stronger than it ever would have been if you had followed all the rules.
The only thing that i see that takes away from the picture is probably the hardest (at least for me it is) part of the bird to draw, the tail feathers. they could be clearer. Also i'm not sure what bird this was based on, but most often the tail feathers come to a point if the bird is perched.
